CSTACTICS.GG is a browser-based Counter-Strike manager game built around tactics, progression, and competition. Ragebite led a full UX/UI redesign to transform a complex, hard-to-use interface into a clear, modern, and engaging game experience.
Project Overview
CSTACTICS.GG is a browser-based Counter-Strike manager game built around team management, tactical planning, and competitive progression. When Ragebite joined the project, the core gameplay systems already existed, but the UX and UI were creating friction for users. Our role was to redesign the entire game interface and user experience, focusing on clarity, usability, and a modern visual direction that would support complex game mechanics without overwhelming the player.
Every screen was rebuilt to feel intuitive, responsive, and aligned with a modern competitive gaming experience.
Dashboard Experience
The dashboard was redesigned as a clear starting point, surfacing progress, key stats, and actions at a glance. Information hierarchy and spacing were improved to help players instantly understand their current state and next steps.
Player Management
Player management was restructured to make roster decisions faster and clearer. Stats, roles, and progression are now visually organized, allowing players to compare athletes easily and manage teams without unnecessary cognitive load.
Player Profiles
Each player profile was redesigned to present detailed data in a clean, readable format. Visual grouping, clear labels, and consistent layouts turn complex statistics into an understandable snapshot of performance and playstyle.
Tactical Planning
The tactics interface was rebuilt to support focused, map-based planning. CT and T-side logic, conditions, and setups are now visually separated, making strategic decisions easier to create, review, and adjust.
Training Systems
Training screens were redesigned to clearly communicate progression, effort, and outcomes. Each training mode is visually distinct, helping players understand how their actions impact performance and long-term development.
Ranked Progression
The ranked system received a visual overhaul to emphasize progression and competition. Clear indicators, divisions, and rewards make advancement easy to track and motivate continued engagement across seasons.
Economy Overview
The economy view was redesigned to simplify financial tracking. Income, expenses, and growth are presented through clear visual patterns, helping players understand the impact of their decisions without digging through raw numbers.
Facilities & Upgrades
Facility management was redesigned to feel rewarding and understandable. Upgrade paths, benefits, and progression are now visually structured, reinforcing long-term strategy and making growth feel tangible and satisfying.
CSTACTICS had strong gameplay depth, but the UX was confusing and the UI lacked clarity, consistency, and visual appeal. Complex systems were hard to understand, key actions were not obvious, and the overall experience created friction, especially for new players.
We redesigned the entire UX/UI to simplify flows, improve information hierarchy, and introduce a modern, game-focused visual language. By restructuring screens and unifying the design system, we turned complex mechanics into a clear, intuitive, and engaging experience.
The redesign covered 40+ unique screens, spanning every core system and gameplay flow across the platform.
